Subject: KELIIPULEOLE OHANA, PROTEST SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY
ALOHA AGAIN EVERYONE,
We had court this morning on our motion to lower the $150,000 Bond that the district court ordered me to pay if I want to be able to stay in my own home ( Stay Of Execution). The district court Judge denied our motion, so as it stands right now, I either have to come up with the full amount of $150,000 by Thursday Nov. 30th or Immediate eviction will take place, which is this Friday Dec. 1rst.
We invite all of you, family, friends, neighbors and all of you who have shown support in our cause in our quest for justice in saving our 999 year homestead, to come and stand with us on this day Friday Dec. 1rst at our home in Palolo Valley. My ohana and I will be demanding to stay in our home.
We will not leave willingly and give in to this ILLEGAL EVICTION!!! We will stand strong and hold our heads up high in a peaceful Protest!!! I will be opened and prepared to being arrested if I am led to do so.
We will start preparing for a protest on Thursday Nov. 30th, I ask any of you who can come to our home to help make signs, share in conversation, and any idea's that you may have, we are certainly open to any suggestion's (WE WOULD LIKE THIS DAY TO BE MORE OF A HO'OLAULEA, a gathering). Bring tent's if any of you want to spend the night, we have plenty of yard space to put up tent's and prepare for Friday. You are also welcome to come up sooner if you wish, I know a lot of you have work as well, but if you want, no shame!
We are also looking for supplies, for making signs: Poster Boards, Sheets, spray paint, marker pens, or anything else you can think of for sign making, etc.
DIRECTIONS TO OUR HOMESTEAD: 2203 Ahe Place, located in Palolo Valley (Kaimuki). Take the 6th Ave exit from H-1 heading towards Diamond Head, Turn left on 6th Ave, stay in your far right lane, take right at light onto Harding Ave., Go til you get to 10th Ave., Turn left on 10th Ave, go straight up 10th Ave., cross over Waialae Ave. and come straight into Palolo Valley, go all the way to the back of the Valley, you will come up to Palolo Elementry School located on the left hand side. Go pass the school and stay on 10th Ave til you come to a dip in the road. Go down the dip, and up the dip then take your next left onto Ahe Street. If you went pass the mom and pop store, you went to far. Then take your 2nd left onto Ahe Place, go to the dead end of the road, we are the last driveway on the left, across the street from the Palolo Housing. You will see a green house in the front, I am in the yellow house in the back. If fthere is no more parking, you can park on the street. I am going to see if Anuenue school will let us use thier parking lot as well.
Mahalo for your time and everyone support,
Aloha,
Shelly Keliipuleole & Ohana
